About US
Dianna C Davidson
I am a ceramic artist working in abstract clay forms that explore the emotional and tactile language of this medium. My sculptural pieces reject traditional function in favor of intuitive shape, movement, and texture. I intentionally avoid placing human attributes or fixed meaning to my work. While they are titled reflecting my vision; I invite the viewer to bring their own associations, allowing each piece to serve as a mirror for individual perception.
Lamar Davidson
I began my journey with clay during my junior year at Deland High School, honing my skills in functional pottery on the wheel. It was particularly rewarding to create on the kick wheel I designed and built myself. After graduation, I took a gap year and spent some time as a production potter in California. Upon returning to Florida, I met Dianna and resumed my education. As family life took shape, I pursued a career in engineering and program management.
Now that I'm retired, I'm returning to clay.
